Celebrate the start of the breeding season for Curlews, Lapwings, and other wading birds with an evening of fascinating talks, nature-inspired art, music and poetry.
The first of these enigmatic but sadly threatened group of bird species has already returned in the area. Soon they will start to fill the valley and the hills with their characteristic calls and songs.
Come together with the local community to enjoy art, music and poetry from local and visiting artists, as well as talks from wader conservationists to welcome waders back to Badenoch and Strathspey.
Locally prepared refreshments are provided and there will be a chance to buy beautiful crafts and win prizes at the raffle. This event is hosted by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland and Cairngorms Connect.
