Cairngorms Connect Communications Officer (Maternity Cover)

Would you like to use your communications skills to support the UK’s largest ecological restoration project? Fancy working with inspiring people across the Cairngorms Connect Partnership to tell their stories of a wild landscape in the making? 

We are looking for a Communications Officer to join the Cairngorms Connect support team, a small, dedicated team supporting the delivery of our 200-year vision for ecological restoration. The Communications Officer will work across the partnership to tell the stories of this wild landscape in the making, driving support and engagement, locally, nationally and internationally.

If you’re passionate about this landscape, and are able to produce creative and engaging communications, we’d love to hear from you!

We are running an online session where you can meet us, find out more about our work and ask any questions on Monday 7th of April from 12–1pm. Project Officer – Rare Invertebrates in the Cairngorms (Fixed-Term)

Duration: Until 31st March 2028

Rare Invertebrates in the Cairngorms (RIC) is a partnership project between RSPB Scotland, Cairngorms National Park Authority, Buglife, Butterfly Conservation, Royal Zoological Society of Scotland and NatureScot, committed to improving the fortunes of some of the UK's rarest insects with strongholds within the Cairngorms National Park. 

This role will  work with the existing project officer to increase the geographical coverage of the project within the Cairngorms and be responsible for conducting and organising volunteer surveys of the 5 key insect species across the Cairngorms.
